Gun violence scares me. Why do our kids have to worry about school shootings and practice lockdown drills? To create these pieces, I put masking tape over a piece of plywood. The laser was controlled to cut through the tape, but not through the wood. The tape around the holes was peeled off and those areas were hand painted. I hate the subject, but was happy with the splattered blood effect.
